Trading ideas

How a trade idea is built, step by step

How a trade idea is built, step by step: context, location, trigger, risk, targets, management and review, and which Tactiq tool answers each step.

  1. Context. Read the Flag on the higher timeframe and the Direction in an idea's evidence or the daily map. Decide the side you allow, or decide not to trade.
  2. Location. Find the Area: a heavy or flow zone, a wall in the heatmap, a level. Prime and strong Areas have more than one reason. Do not trade from the middle of nowhere.
  3. Trigger. Wait for a closed candle that shows something there: a rejection, an acceptance, or absorbed aggression.
  4. Risk. Put the stop where the idea is wrong. Check that costs are a small part of the risk.
  5. Targets. Use the next real references. The ideas Tactiq raises take part at TP1 and protect the rest.
  6. Manage. Read "Changes if". Tactiq's ideas reduce risk when a flag appears against them or the regime starts to tire.
  7. Review. Write the trade in your Journal: the plan, what happened, what you learned.

This is how Tactiq structures an idea, as education, not advice. Tactiq does not size or place trades. Position size, execution and discipline are yours.
