Privacy Policy

Tactiq is a market-information tool. It needs very little about you. This page says what we keep, why, who helps us run Tactiq, and what you can do about it.
1. Who is responsible
FinVision Pte Ltd., United Arab Emirates, runs Tactiq and decides how your personal data is used (the "controller" in EU and UK law, the "data fiduciary" in Indian law). Contact for privacy questions and requests: contact@tactiq.pro.
Grievance contact (India): the same address, contact@tactiq.pro.
2. What we collect
| Data | Why we need it | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Account: email address, a password stored only as a salted hash (not if you sign in with Google), how you sign in, sign-up and last sign-in time, your access status. With Google, we also receive your Google name and picture address, and we offer that name as your first display name | To create your account, sign you in and decide who may use Tactiq | Contract |
| Profile: the display name, avatar and title you choose | To show you as you want to appear in the app | Contract |
| Your content: journal entries, settings, alert choices, and any feedback you send | To run the features you use, and to improve Tactiq from your feedback | Contract; legitimate interest (feedback) |
| Telegram link (only if you connect it): chat ID, your Telegram username, alert on or off | To send you the alerts you asked for | Consent (you start the link, and can remove it) |
| Usage statistics: which pages, features and buttons you use (page paths, feature names, clicks, the instrument and timeframe you pick), where it helps us find confusing screens, session recordings in which typed text and personal details are masked, and your account number, role and email address | To see what is used and what is not, and improve Tactiq | Legitimate interest; your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are honoured, and you can object at any time by email |
| Trader digest (only if you turn it on): the assets and kinds of events you chose; we use your email address to send it | To send you the Trader digest you asked for | Consent (you turn it on and can turn it off or unsubscribe in one click) |
| Tactiq Wisdom newsletter (only if you subscribe, or leave the box ticked when you sign up): your email address, the date, and where you signed up | To send you the newsletter | Consent (you subscribe or keep the box ticked, confirm by email, and can unsubscribe from any issue) |
| Technical data: IP address, browser type, time and address of each request, error details | To keep the service secure, stop abuse, apply rate limits and fix faults | Legitimate interest |
| Your device's storage: your sign-in session, theme and workspace choices | To keep you signed in and remember your choices | Strictly needed to provide the service |
Usage statistics are built to leave out what you type (journal notes, feedback, your name) and any price, size or position, and where we use click analytics or session recordings, typed text and personal details are masked. They are sent without cookies, and are not sent at all if your browser says Do Not Track or you switch them off. We do not collect your exchange account, API keys, wallet addresses, payment card numbers, government ID or precise location. Tactiq never asks for them. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Market data shown in Tactiq is public market data. It is not about you. The AI reviews of trade ideas and the short notes in the email digest read market data and our own rule output only. They never see your account, email address, journal or settings.
4. How we use it
- To provide Tactiq: sign-in, your pages, your journal and settings, and the alerts you chose.
- To keep it safe: stop abuse, enforce the rate limits and the terms, and find and fix faults.
- To improve it: read the feedback you send and see which parts have problems.
- To show what traders say: we may show a note you sent as a testimonial on our website, with the display name and trader title you chose, never your email. Ask us and we take it down.
- To tell you about changes to the service, these terms or this policy.
- To meet legal duties and answer lawful requests.
5. Who helps us run Tactiq
We use these providers. They process personal data only on our instructions.
| Provider | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Sign-in and our database (accounts, profiles, journals, settings, feedback) | Seoul, South Korea |
| Vercel | Serves the website and app pages | Global edge network (including the USA) |
| Google Cloud | Runs the Tactiq server that collects market data and answers the app | Tokyo, Japan |
| PostHog | Usage statistics (see above) | Frankfurt, Germany (EU cloud) |
| "Continue with Google" sign-in, only if you use it. Google learns that you signed in to Tactiq | Worldwide | |
| Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) | Sends our emails: the digest you turn on, and sign-in and password emails | The AWS region we choose |
| Beehiiv | Sends the Tactiq Wisdom newsletter to the people who subscribed | USA |
| Telegram | Delivers alerts to the chat you linked | Worldwide |
| Cloudflare R2 | Stores archives of public market data (no personal data) | Worldwide |
We may also share data when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in a sale or merger of the business (with the same protections for your data).
6. Transfers across borders
Tactiq's servers are in Japan, South Korea and Germany, and some providers operate worldwide. Your data may therefore be processed outside your country. Where the law requires a safeguard for such transfers, we rely on the provider's data processing terms and standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism.
7. How long we keep it
- Account, profile, journal, settings, Telegram link: while your account exists. When you delete your account, they are deleted with it. Copies in backups are gone when the backups rotate out (up to 35 days).
- Feedback: while your account exists. When you delete your account, your feedback is removed or kept only without anything that identifies you.
- Technical logs (IP address and request details): kept in log files of limited size that overwrite their oldest part, so usually for days to a few weeks. Kept longer only to investigate abuse or a fault.
- Data we must keep by law is kept as long as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your personal data (access, portability);
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data and close your account (erasure);
- limit or stop how we use it (restriction, objection);
- stop using data that rests on your consent, such as the Telegram link, at any time, by unlinking it in your Account page.
Write to contact@tactiq.pro from the email of your account. We answer within 30 days. We may need to check that you are the account owner. You may also complain to your data protection authority: for example the data protection authority in your EU country, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the Data Protection Board of India. Residents of California: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
You can change your name, avatar and settings in the app, unlink Telegram, download all your data and delete your account on the Account page, at any time.
9. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects by automated means. Signals and AI reviews are about the market, not about you.
10. Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections, hashed passwords, per-account access checks on every request, rate limits, and a database that is not open to the public. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
11. Children
Tactiq is for adults, 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think a child has an account, write to us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when what we do changes, and show the new date at the top. For changes that matter, we will tell you in the service or by email. See also our Terms of Service.
