Risk disclosure

Trading can lose you money fast. Read this before you act on anything you see in Tactiq. It is part of the Terms of Service.
1. Tactiq is information, not advice
Tactiq shows market data and measurements, rule-based trade ideas and software-written reviews. None of it is financial advice or a recommendation, and none of it takes your situation into account. You are responsible for every decision and every trade. Do not trade money you cannot afford to lose. Get independent advice if you are unsure. See the Terms of Service.
2. Leverage and perpetual futures
- Perpetual futures are leveraged. A small move against you can wipe out your margin, and your position can be closed by force (liquidation) at a bad price. Leverage of 10x or more is common on exchanges and can end an account in minutes.
- You can lose more than you expected, and in some conditions more than you deposited.
- Funding payments, fees and slippage cost money. A strategy that looks profitable before costs can lose after them. Tactiq scores ideas after assumed costs, but your real costs will differ.
- Derivatives and crypto products are banned or restricted in some countries. It is your duty to check what is lawful where you live.
3. Market risks
- Crypto prices are very volatile and can gap, halt or fall sharply with no warning. Order books thin out in stress.
- Gold, oil, gas, currencies and other traditional assets traded as perpetual contracts on a crypto exchange follow the exchange's own price during hours when the underlying market is closed. They can jump when it reopens.
- An exchange can suffer outages, stop trading, change rules or fail. Tactiq does not control any exchange.
- News, regulation and large traders can move a market in a way no tool can see ahead.
4. Limits of the information
- Data can be late, incomplete or wrong. Tactiq labels what is stale, missing or estimated. An estimate (for example the liquidation map) comes from a model. It is not a record of what happened.
- Taker flow, large trades and zones describe what traded, not who traded or why. A large order can be a hedge, a stop run or a liquidation. Candles do not reveal intent.
- No single number is the truth. Tactiq's readings are made to be read together, and several were measured and found not to predict price. They are marked in the docs.
- Past behaviour of a market or a rule does not promise the same in future. Conditions change, and rules can stop working.
5. Trade ideas, demo results and AI
- Signals come from fixed rules. They show an example entry, stop and targets. They are the same for everyone and are not personal advice. Many ideas lose. A string of losses is normal.
- The results Tactiq shows for its ideas are demo trading: they follow the ideas on live prices with assumed fills and costs. They are not real trades and real fills are usually worse. They do not promise future results.
- Software and artificial intelligence write reviews and lessons. They can be wrong, overconfident or out of date. They are judged only on what happens after they speak, never on history they have already seen.
- Features marked beta are still being measured. Expect changes and mistakes.
6. What you can do
- Decide before you trade how much you can lose, and use a stop you will honour.
- Size small while you learn. Use Tactiq's demo results to learn how an idea behaves, not as a promise.
- Check that data is live before you act. Tactiq shows LIVE, DELAYED, STALE or DISCONNECTED on every page.
- Keep your exchange keys and funds under your own control. Tactiq never asks for them.
